Designed for regular use around the yard, during grooming and while travelling, the Leyburn is constructed from tough polyester webbing for a durable yet lightweight feel. Soft fleece padding across the crown and noseband creates a cushioned contact surface, helping reduce pressure and rubbing in these sensitive areas.

The double-buckle headpiece can be adjusted independently on both sides. This helps keep the crownpiece centred behind the horse’s ears while allowing the headcollar to be fitted more evenly than a design with adjustment on only one side.

An easy-use trigger clip on the throat lash allows the headcollar to be opened and removed quickly without repeatedly altering the crown adjustment. This is particularly convenient during everyday yard routines, grooming and preparation for travel.

Do not leave a horse unattended while wearing a standard headcollar unless this forms part of a carefully assessed management plan. Headcollars can catch on fencing, gates, feeders and other objects.

Check the webbing, stitching, buckles, trigger clip and lead-rope attachment before every use. Replace the set if any component becomes damaged, excessively worn or unreliable.
